hi, I'm —
Paul Brotelande.
Computer engineer, systems tinkerer, and a builder happiest close to the metal.
Bilingual, twenty-two, and three summers deep at AMD. I build from the transistor up to the dashboard — and I like the parts of the stack most people skip.
p.s. — graduating May 2026,
open to new-grad software & hardware roles.
Raised between two languages, and a lot of taken-apart electronics.
I'm a computer engineer finishing my B.S. at Colorado State — the kind who reaches for the oscilloscope and the debugger in the same afternoon. I grew up bilingual in English and French, which is half the reason one of my favorite projects teaches a model to read century-old French handwriting.
Three summers at AMD taught me what production actually costs: build farms, observability, and the unglamorous automation that keeps fifty engineers unblocked. The rest of my time goes to silicon, photonics, and whatever's humming in my home-server rack.
